Q: WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO WASH MY CAR ?

A: It is always best to wash your car with a car wash soap ! You want to avoid using dish washing soap or any detergents. Dish wash soap is a degreaser made for removing grease from your pots & pans and dishes...if you use it to wash your car,  you can actually strip the wax off that is protecting you paint. Most car wash soaps are PH balanced ..so when you wash your car with it your wax or paint sealant is still left  on the paint where it belongs !

Q: WHAT TO USE, WASH MITT OR SPONGE ?

A: Wash mitt.! If a sponge picks up any contaminates, they will tend to stay on the surface of the sponge so you have a greater chance of scratching the paint on your car

Q: WHAT  IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WAX OR A PAINT SEALANT ?

A : A wax when applied to the paint basically just lays on the surface of your paint and each time you wash and dry your car you actually  strip away a little wax each time. A paint sealant has polymers..co-polymers or even tefflon, kind of like what we use in our non-stick cookware...not to that extreme though! And when applied correctly will bond to your paints surface. Paint sealants are a lot better at standing up to harsher conditions like ultraviolet sun rays, acid rain, detergents, sap and bird droppings. With a good wax.. i would say that you could get a good month too 2 months protection, if your vehicle is kept inside a garage or covered and less if kept outside . Also the color of your car has a lot to do with how long wax will stay on the paint. Most waxes have a melting point of about 200 DEG and on a hot summer day ...if you are the owner of a black car that's been setting in the HOT sun all day, then you know what I'm talking about ! The wax will start to break down and start evaporate. With a good paint sealant you should get at least 6 month to a year of protection unless your washing your car with harsh chemicals or SOS scrub pads??? YES!...I've seen it done before ! BIG NO NO !!!
